I’ve finished my folio, finally! Not exactly great cos I admit I didn’t worked on the details but I guess its still a decent site. Check it out here.

I know my domain name could have been better but all of them are taken up!! Oh well, I’ve got a good deal for my domain and hosting from piggy’s boss. So both piggy and me are sharing 10Gig for a year. So yeah.. don’t kill me.. I need to move my blog again so as not to waste space & money. If you’re thinking of sharing our hosting, lemme know cos we’re open to 2 more domain users. =D

I’ll not delete this account incase I stop my service a year later nor would I delete my LJ cos i need that account for sprees.

I think I’m hooked on joining online sprees. Its so addictive buying goods overseas. Piggy’s right. I’m a shopaholic!

Till date, I’ve join 6 sprees.
- 3 skirts at a tw spree
- 10 diary facial masks
- 10 shiseido nose masks
- Shu umera glue at only 10 bucks!!!
- a sundress
- and a bra set from japan

Only received my diary masks, while the nose masks and glue is on the way… still waiting for the skirt, sundress and bra which usually takes a longer time. lol!! Seriously I’m really tempted at buying the 120 denier stockings now!!

Aaarrrgh!

On a serious note, dad’s 60th bday this sat and I’m not sure what I should get for him though….

Had been listening to lotsa sad love stories lately. And it has been kinda disheartening. Until this morning, I received an eDM from Woman’s Lifestyle and their theme was Love.

The road bridge March 27, 2008

Just watched at documentary on CCTV, a channel from china. Basically it was about a rope bridge that was used in a remote village of Yunnan, as means of transport from one mountain to the other.

Kids starts to cross the bridge alone when they turn 5 as they need to cross that river to get to their school everyday. Read it here.

There was a moment when the reporters saw a little gal about 4-5 years who got stucked in the middle of the bridge. She didn’t panic and climbed her way through. OMG. I would be wetting my pants if it was me!

Makes me wonder how fortunate I am now. It was nothing compared to my daily 1 hour travel to work. At least, I wasn’t playing with my life.

After filming, the media went back to Nanjing and called for donations. Finally, they collected enough funds to build 4 bridges! Thank God!

Letter from a son to his dad March 27, 2008

A father passing by his son’s bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was picked up. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed ‘Dad’. With the worst premonition he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands,

 

‘Dear Dad,
it is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you, I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mum and you. I’ve been finding real passion with Stacy and she is so nice but I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercing’s, tattoos, her tight Motorcycle clothes and because she is so much older than I am. But it’s not only the passionDad, she’s pregnant. Stacy said that we will be very happy, she owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

 

Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn’t really hurt anyone. We’ll be growing it for ourselves and trading it with the other people in the commune for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we’ll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Stacy can get better, she sure deserves it! Don’t worry Dad, I’m 15, and I know how to take care of myself, someday I’m sure we’ll be back to visit so you can get to know your many grandchildren.

Shopping with Sam March 26, 2008

Damn! I spent again!!

Accompanied Sam for her medical checkup in Raffles Hotel. After that, started our shopping therapy in bugis village and bugis junction as Sam wanted to get some formal clothings and shoes.

I bot a pair of really comfy patent heels from URS. Really ex though but it was really comfy and I couldn’t resist it. I shall swear off cheap and uncomfy heels from now on! Its such a waste of money to buy cheap ones and throw them away after wearing them a few times. Anyway, we bought enough to get a URS lifetime membership!

Went bugis village after that. Sam bought a few tops and both of us each got a pair of really cheap and comfy flats. Mine was only selling at 12.90!! This is gonna go really well with those stockings I bought in TW. Hee..

Both of us each got a boyfriend shirt at ony 20 bucks. Hers was red while mine was bluish-green. Cheap! I got a plain tee at 8 bucks too.

Went back bugis to get my bronze belt and Sam got herself a really chic leather bag at the same cart.

What a spree right. We were so tired we rested at Mos for some bites after that. And guess what, we took a bus back cos we were really broke after a day of shopping!!

I shall stop spending for months from now on!! And yes I mean it, anyway Piggy will make sure I stop spending. Lol…

Got guilty when i got back and… I worked on my folio till 4am in the morning! Amazing lol.. its so cooling to work at night.

But I guess I better stock up on some eye masks..

I just got my macbook back! Apple gave me a free upgrade of my HDD from 60Gig to 80 Gig!! Shiok isn’t it?

I got a good deal for my RAM upgrade to and its now running at 2Gig! Woot!

Now… I’m fiddling round my macbook and downloading some new widgets! There’s this widget call the WordPress Dash and guess what? I’m writing my entry using that now! Right at my dashboard! Cool huh?

I doubt I can attach any photos from here though but its still cool if I just wanna blog without loggin my acct!

Alright.. back to installations!
