Folio April 5, 2008

I’ve finished my folio, finally! Not exactly great cos I admit I didn’t worked on the details but I guess its still a decent site. Check it out here.

I know my domain name could have been better but all of them are taken up!! Oh well, I’ve got a good deal for my domain and hosting from piggy’s boss. So both piggy and me are sharing 10Gig for a year. So yeah.. don’t kill me.. I need to move my blog again so as not to waste space & money. If you’re thinking of sharing our hosting, lemme know cos we’re open to 2 more domain users. =D

I’ll not delete this account incase I stop my service a year later nor would I delete my LJ cos i need that account for sprees.

Meet my new love, Love Chan.

You can call him Love 兔 as well. Love chan is a character designed and created by the jap singer, 大塚爱! Isn’t he cute?? I bought a keychain of him in tw. Regretted not buying more of its merchandises!!

• Anyway, just moved to wordpress cos LJ has too many limitations! If you realised, my embedded youtube videos are gone… argh! But wordpress has improved and is kinda cool too!
• Fluuuuu!!
• Working on my folio.
  Kinda irritated these days. My ex-colleagues keep asking me the same qn : Found a Job? Not that I mind repeating my answers to diff pple. Its the same ppl who asked.. and repeated the qn a few days/weeks later! AAARRRRGH!!! Can’t they be kind enough to REMEMBER what i said? Its getting on my nerve! And I’m NOT gonna reply those questions ANYMORE!
• Watched Sex is Zero 2 online yesterday! So funny!! But its not as good as 1 though.
• And… I just received a mail from Cruz… I won the a pair of tix tickets to SPOP this coming sunday 23rd March!! Woot!!!

Revamp March 12, 2008

I don’t know what came over me, but I suddenly feel like doing a revamp.
And its 3:10 am now! I must have been MAD staying up revamping my blog. Its kinda tedious reading someone else’s code.
Damn, why cant they make it more user-friendly?

Well, you’ll see an irritating pink line on the right. I can’t find the bloody code to remove that.. eye sore!!! -___- But its soothing, working & listening to Joanna Wang’s & Colbie Caillat’s songs late at nite.

After my tw trip, I was fascinated. Cos fake eyelashes there are cheap and nice! About 70% of the gals there wore them!

Pre-Trip Preparations February 13, 2008

Its V-Day eve and I’m still coughing away. Seems like we wouldn’t be able to eat much stuffs (no fried, no heaty stuffs) tml since Piggy is STILL sick! (Yes, almost a month already!) Surprisingly, I didn’t feel the v’day mood this year. I even suggest Piggy not buying anything for me.

Maybe its the dreadful v’day theme site which I had been doing since way before thanks-giving last year. Or maybe my office is too DULL to celebrate any day (maybe qing ming jie la). Or maybe I wasn’t ready for the CNY-Vday transition since the date is too near CNY.

I suddenly felt v’day is too over-rated. Not that I mind celebrating v’day but the prices hikes of restaurants and roses are outrageous… Was surprised that a friend of mine spent a few hundreds on the day itself!

But still… I wouldn’t mind the extra attention, the flowers especially the gifts. But it would probably be a lot more romantic and meaningful if its our anniversary or my birthday.

Enough of vday…

Am currently planning the itinerary for my long-awaited Taiwan trip!!

Seriously, I can’t wait!

March 2008 not only marks the days of my trip but for my long-awaited (2 mths to be precise) of freedom (from work)!!

Gotta Play Hard after all the hard work last year… After the trip, I shall Work Harder at finding a job! lol!

Random Updates January 19, 2008

Nothing much lately, except enjoying the xtra time i had which i used to spend working. :/

• Piggy n me booked our taiwan tickets and got our hotel confirmed! Everything was DIY and at least 300-400 bucks cheaper than travel agencies! Now its time to save some money for my shopping!!!

• I saw this article today.. Damn funny!

• New HDB balloting this month. Damn ex… 300k-400k!! Wonder if the price will go down…
  (And btw no.. I am not getting married this year or next..)

• Going out today. Wanna get a new dress… Going Couz’ salon tml for a haircut!

Lastly, a new mv by 方大同.
Might get his album though. Such soulful voice. I prefer him to LeeHom although LeeHom is realllly hot.

Recap & New Year Resolution January 6, 2008

Anyway here’s a recap of my 2007

1. Left WDS and got a new job
2. Spent 3 stressful weeks alone cos Piggy went Aus for his studies
3. Bought a PSP!
4. Went to KL, Genting & JB again
5. Got a promotion & outstanding employee award for my dept
6. My first Citibank card
7. Found out that my bosses are actually my buddy’s uncle & aunt -__-”
8. Attended lotsa weddings (Ruoyin, Weili, Kash, 2nd Sis, skipped Azmi’s cos I’ve totally forgotten bout it) which really drained my $$ lol..
9. Hooked onto Pinky Street!
10. Finished the whole series of Harry Potter!!
11. Room revamp! Mummy bot new furnitures and a mini TV for me!! (Of course i need to donate some $$ )
12. Piggy finally grad from Uni and got his first job!!
14. Started playing MMORPG again!
15. Upgraded my phone
16. Big Sis got hospitalised.
17. Dinner at Raffles Hotel! But the food.. bleah…
18. BONUS!!

Attended lotsa wedding and heard lotsa ex-classmates got married last year.. (And yes I’ve got LOTSA pressure to get married as well.) 2007 must have been a really 旺年 for them. It was a so-so year for me. Not happening cos I spent most of my time working. And I didn’t really travel. KL was the furthest I went!! Not much unlucky stuffs for me so I can’t say it was a 犯太岁year for me as well.

Now its 2008 and I’ve already attended my couz’s customary wedding on the 2nd! Piggy’s sis is getting married as well. 2nd sis’ customary in mid yr and Krist’s wedding at the end of the year.

2008 Resolutions
1. SAVE money!!!
2. Create a portfolio
3. Holiday at Taiwan in march
4. More time for myself, family and God
5. Continue to develop my skills in photography
6. Hope to get a flat
7. Earn more $$.
8. Career Advancement.
9. Skills development

and… and… I know it clashes with #1 but i hope… i can get one of these

Hope that 2008 will be a 旺年 for me !
